Andrew C. Keating

In Loving memory of Andrew Charles Keating, who passed away suddenly on Monday, November 20, 2023. Andrew was born on July 18, 1948 to Marie Keating (Rice) and Andrew Keating in Newtown Square, PA. He worked for Main Line Health for 30 years as a Public Safety Officer and retired in July of 2022. He also worked for A&P/Super Fresh for many years before he retired. Andrew served in the US Army and was discharged in 1968.

He was pre-deceased by his lovely wife of 47 years, Deborah Keating (Hart), in December of 2021, and his son, Sean Keating, in January of 2017. Andrew is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Miller (Paul), Amy Donahue(Michael); his grand-daughters, Shannon Miller (Stephanie & Paul); Keira Donahue, Lilyanna Donahue, Maya Donahue (Amy & Michael); and Natalie Keating (Sean); his sisters Maureen Keating, Dorothy Simeone, Karen Pearce, Janet Balentine, Terry Sandman, and Claire Dalahan. There are also, brother-in-laws, sister-in-law, many nieces and nephews, and many friends who will remember Andrew with affection and fond memories.

Andrew loved working as a Public Safety Officer at Bryn Mawr Hospital. He loved watching his granddaughters and trying to get them to watch FOX News. He loved traveling to England to visit his daughter, Stephanie, and her family. He enjoyed taking long drives, vacationing in Cape May, and planned to travel to Ireland again one day.

The viewing will be held at St. Dorothy’s Church in Drexel Hill at 9a Saturday, December 2nd followed by the mass at 10a.
