An excellent mentor and friendly neighbor, George helped get me involved in local politics and motivated me to stay involved in the community. He'll be missed by many here in Newtown Square who benefited from his efforts and his wise advice and his work.  My prayers go out to Sue, his daughter, Megan and the family.

Our deepest sympathies are sent to Sue and the rest of the Cordes family.  George gave so much of his time and talents in Newtown Square. With his wife Sue, George raised a beautiful family.  We will keep all of you in our prayers.

George:  I know that you are serving the Lord our God, Jesus the Christ. We worked together at GSA for many years. In my long career I never met a man more honorable that George. I will forever reflect fondly on our relationship. John27

I was struck with my remembrance of living on Pennview Avenue as a child as I saw this notice. Your family has popped in and out of my life since-reunions, through my cousin, Jack Williams, and here again. I am sorry for your loss and will keep you all in my prayers.
