Anna M. Ruggere

Anna Marie Ruggere (94) of Newtown Square PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday December 26, 2024.

She was born in Philadelphia in 1930 to Thomas McHugh and Marie Reilly.  Anna attended West Catholic Highschool for girls.  Anna was an avid golfer and gardener.  Anna was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Ruggere, and brother Thomas McHugh, and survived by daughter Gena Hennessy (Anthony Hennessy) and two grandchildren Sophie and Ryan.

Viewing and funeral services will be held at St. Anastasia’s Church in Newtown Square on Thursday January2nd.  The viewing will begin at 9:30 am immediately followed by 10:00 am mass.  Directly following the church services, funeral procession will go to Calvary Cemetery.
