David F. Kleeman, long time Resident of Newtown Square, passed away suddenly on May 6, 2021.
Father of two and grandfather of seven, He was the beloved husband to Beverley for nearly 49 years. David earned his undergraduate degree at the Warton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his law degree From Harvard University. He joined Price Waterhouse Coopers in 1972, becoming a partner in 1980 and served as the international Tax partner in the Philadelphia office until he retired in 1999. Throughout his life, he shared his remarkable knowledge with others by teaching graduate school courses on taxation and serving on countless financial committees throughout the community. David was an avid collector and loved music and the arts. In his retirement, David learned to play the piano, invested in real estate, grew an impressive garden of vegetables, and enjoyed his home away from home in Ocean City, NJ. Above all David stood firm in his faith and was an active member at Church of Our Savior in Wayne for 40 years. David cherished his wife, daughters, and grandchildren, and they will miss him dearly.
David is survived by his wife Beverley, brothers, Robert (Diane) Kleeman, daughters Alison (Robert) Durbois and Jeannette (Wayne) Grabe, and his grandchildren, Caleb Dorbois, Gabriel Doubois, Caden Durbois, Katherine Kleeman, Jacob Grabe, Luke Grabe and Madeline Grabe.
Those touched by David's legacy are invited to join in the celebration of his life on Saturday, May 15th in the Meditation Garden at Church of the Saviour in Wayne, PA. Visiting will begin at 9:30 AM, followed by service at 10:30 AM.
