George H. Montague, Jr.

George H. Montague, Jr., (Born July 9, 1952) passed away on December 26, 2024 at the age of 72.

He was born in Bryn Mawr, PA. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelors in History. He recently retired from Marple Newtown School District Transportation Department after 38 years of Service.

George was an avid gardener. He loved reading, learning new languages, and family history. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a mission to Los Angelos as a young man. George was generous with his time and loved helping others.

George was predeceased by his parents George H. Montague, Sr and Laura M. Sooy. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Warwick), his sister, Doris (Daniel), his son, Neil (Lynn), his daughters Sarah (Drew) and Allison, and his granddaughter, Malia. 

The memorial service will be held on January 18, 2025 at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint, 721 Paxon Hollow Rd., Broomall, PA 19008.
