Joseph William O'Shaughnessy

Joseph "Rolls" O'Shaughnessy, age 55, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. Joe was Born in Springfield, PA on October 20,1967 to William and Joyce(Smith) O'Shaughnessy. He grew up in Drexel Hill, PA and then moved to Swedesboro, NJ, where he resided for 32 years.

He obtained his CDL and was a Truck Driver / Dispatcher for many years for Shannon Chemical Corporation in Exton, PA. Shannon Chemical Corporation became his second home where he made many lifelong friends. He had a larger than life, fun loving personality, was always there for you and could always be counted on to be the life of the party. He was the Trivia King, loved riding his Harley-Davidson, had numerous "Joe-isms", and enjoyed a cold beer with his friends at the Moose Lodge. He especially enjoyed his trip abroad to Ireland. Honoring his generous wish, the gift of life was shared with many people in need through organ and tissue donation.

Joe is preceded in death by his beloved parents, William and Joyce (Smith) O'Shaughnessy and nephew Robert Murray. He his survived by his brothers and sisters, William (the late Adrianne), Dennis (Christine), Donna (the late Robert Murray), (Gerald Kass) Murray, Michael (Jacqueline), Jacqueline (James) Rodgers, Joan (Joseph) Spaeder; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; the love of his life, Regina Falcone; and feisty cat, Bernard.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials in Joe's name go to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge, 13 Bypass Road, P.O. Box 83 Woodstown, NJ 08098. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the Surgical Truma Unit at Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Upland, PA and the Gift of Life Donor Program (1-800-366-6771).

Family and friends will leave Sweeney Funeral Home, Thursday morning 10:00 AM, going to Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery for 10:30 AM Committal service.
