M. Jeanne (Entriken) Buchser

M. Jeanne Buchser, age 86 of Newtown Square, PA., passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 23, 2020.
Jeanne was born in Havertown, PA on June 2, 1933 to parents Martha and Clifford Entriken. She was a life long resident of Newtown Square. She attended school in Marple Newtown, where she was a member of the drum and bugle corp. She graduated from Marple-Newtown High School, class of 1951. After high school Jeanne attended nursing school in Bryn Mawr. Jeanne married George P. Buchser, Sr. in 1952 with whom she raised two children, Linda and George. Jeanne had a love for the theater and was a very talented actress. She performed in many plays throughout her life with various groups, including the M-N Players. Jeanne recently developed a passion for writing and regularly attended writing groups at the Paoli Library. She was an incredibly strong women with a kind heart, a strong will and so full of life. She was loved by many and not easily forgotten. she was a very dedicated and loving grandmother to Frank Hershey, Sara Hershey,  Shannon (Tom) Locher, Jessica Buchser, Christopher Buchser and the late April Hershey and to 3 great grandchildren, Kylie Hershey, Dillon Locher and Nathan Locher

Jeanne was preceded in death by her mother and father, Martha and Clifford Entriken and her beloved husband, George P. Bushser, Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Tim) Alexander, son, George P. Buchser, Jr., brother Cliff (Jean) Entriken, and brother Allen (Sue) Entriken


Interment, Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, PA 19342
