Marjorie Mae Hamilton-Bair (nee Feeser), 88, of West Chester, PA passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026. Marjorie was the beloved wife of the late Richard E. Hamilton to whom she was married for 32 years and the late Delmer J. Bair to whom she was married for 5 years.
Marjorie was the loving mother of Richard Hamilton (Marianna), Leslie Lynch (Kenneth) and Edward Hamilton (Kathleen), and grandmother to 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Born in Parkside, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul E. and Marjorie M. Feeser (nee Steele). She is predeceased by her sisters Paula Oxenford and Marilyn Storlazzi.
Marjorie attended Swarthmore High School, graduating with honors in 1955, then attended Grove City College, obtaining a teaching degree in 1959. She briefly worked for the Ridley School District, where she met her husband, before continuing her teaching career with the Penn-Delco School District until her retirement.
Margie had a zest for life. She was active in the Women’s Club of Springfield for over 50 years. Bridge was her passion, and she belonged to several bridge leagues. Marjorie was also an excellent golfer and played for many years at Rolling Green Golf Club in Springfield.
Marjorie was very active at the First Presbyterian Church in Springfield serving several years on the Session as an Elder as well as teaching Sunday School. Most recently, she was a member of Newtown Square Presbyterian Church.
Margie was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, with a special love for her Phillies. She rarely missed a game and loved cheering on her team. She was also deeply involved in the lives of her grandchildren and took great pride in supporting them. Whether it was a sporting event or a musical concert, Margie was always there, cheering them on with love and pride.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing from 10 to 11 AM on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Newtown Square Presbyterian Church, 3600 Goshen Rd, Newtown Square, PA followed by a memorial service at 11 AM. Interment at Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Newtown Square Presbyterian Church.
