Michael J. McLaughlin

Michael McLaughlin, age 21, of Havertown, PA, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2019 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born December 25, 1997, to Gerald and Kimberly (nee Cloud) McLaughlin. Michael grew up in Clifton Heights where he attended Holy Cross School and moved to Havertown where he attended Haverford Middle and High Schools.

Michael is survived by his father, Jerry McLaughlin and his step-mother Marie McLaughlin, his mother Kim McLaughlin,            
( Pat Ronen ), his brothers, Matthew and Shane, and his step brother Christian Friel, He also leaves behind his paternal grandparents Joseph and Midge McLaughlin, maternal grandmother rJuneanne Cloud, and many aunts, uncle, cousins, and friends. He is predeceased by his paternal grandfather Kenneth Cloud and his uncle Kenneth Cloud.

Micheal's smile would brighten everyone's day and exuberant personality would fill the room. Michael's laughter would create incredible joy among all. He was an extremely caring and compassionate person to all he loved, even when he was in need himself. Michael would selflessly help others as often as possible. He loved his family immensely and would savor every opportunity he could spend with them. He enjoyed camping and nature, and following Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Eagles. Michel had a passion for cooking all types of foods, especially for others.

Calling hours will be Thursday, May 9th 6:30 to 8:30 PM, at Sweeney Funeral Home, Funeral mass Friday May 10th 11:00 AM St Denis Catholic Church, Havertown, where friends may call after 9:30 AM. till 10:30 AM. Int Ss Peter and Paul Cemetery
