William Bodkin Obituary
William Thomas Bodkin, Sr. 80. a long time resident of Glen Mills, PA, Passed away suddenly at home on July 12,2016. Born in Springfield, He was the son of the late Charles T. and Jane (nee Phelan) Bodkin. Bill graduated from St. James High School and Villanovo University with a degree in Electrical Engiheering.
Bill was a member of St. Anastasia Church, The Old Farts on Skis Club, and St. James (Bulldogs) Alumni Association. A family man Bill was an avid golfer, skier, and handyman. There was little he couldn't accomplish. He coached football and track for meny years at Our Lady of Peace Church in Milmont Park and St. Francis de Sales in Lenni. He was an accomplished elevator mechanic, retiring as a supervisor fron United Elevator Company in 1998. Bill enjoyed 18 years of retirement, camping, skiing, and going to the Jersery Shore with his family. Bill and his family were well known for their annual Halloween party at their farm.
He is survived by his wife Margaret, Sons, William T. and Thomas William, daughter Margaret Anne Reinoehi, grandchildren ven Reinoehl ans Samatha (Thomas) Randazzo. Siblings, Charles Bodkin, Jane Nentwig, and Helen Connors. Bill is predeceased by his siblings Theresa Monagle, Rita McDonald, Robert Bodkin, John Bodkin Betty Davis, and son in law Harry Kellerman.
He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.
