Beloved son of James T. Bowen, Sr. and Jean Herr Bowen.
Devoted brother of Stephen A. Bowen (Kelly Farley), Jeffrey W. Bowen, Peter R. Bowen.
Nephew to Arnold Bowen III, Peter F. Bowen, Robert J. Bowen, F. William Herr III (Theresa Downey) and Marilyn L. Herr.
Loving uncle to niece Catherine Jean Bowen. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.

Jim was born and raised in Newtown Square, PA.  He was an active member of Bowen Incorporated - General Contractors.
Jim had many interests and hobbies which included computer security, welding, climbing and engine repairs.

Jim will be sorely missed by everyone who knew and loved him.  Jim was the epitome of tenacity, voraciousness and had a rich, full life.  He devoted his life to caring for his family and friends.  There will be a visitation on Friday, November 17th from 10-11 AM followed by a Celebration of Life Mass at 11 AM at St. Anastasia's Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073. Interment will be at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery immediately after the Mass.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jim's name to St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073 or Newtown Square Presbyterian Church, 3600 Goshen Road, Newtown Square, PA 19073.

Jimmy, I have so many loving memories of you since the day you were born. Thank you for the help and concern you have given me. I will miss you forever.
